Our trip to Erddig
We have now finalised the arrangements for our summer coach trip to Erddig: the National Trust property near Wrexham which has been called "the most evocative upstairs-downstairs house in Britain". The date is Sunday 25th June, and all members and friends of the Society are welcome to come.
To be sure of your place, please send a £5 per person deposit - to cover the cost of the bus - to our Committee member Brenda Hoatson, by 31st May. Her address is 56 Meadway, Liverpool L15 7LZ (tel.722 3090), and cheques should be made payable to The Wavertree Society. Admission to the house, outbuildings and gardens will cost another £5 (special party rate) payable on the day, though National Trust members will be admitted free of charge.
Note: We intend to use a modern low-floor, easy-access vehicle, with wheelchair accommodation, but please give us advance warning if you wish to use this facility.
