The Maghull Parish Handbell Ringers have been playing together since 1984: giving concerts, taking part in worship, and raising money for local and national charities. They have appeared on radio and TV, and members of the team have attended international gatherings of handbell ringers in the USA and in Australia. They use both English and American handbells, having added to and refurbished their collection over the years.
The Ringers will be visiting us on Sunday 15th December 2002, performing at the Wavertree Garden Suburb Institute, Thingwall Road (250 yds from the Queens Drive junction) at 2.30 pm. They will be playing a varied selection of music from their repertoire, including seasonal favourites, and those who have heard them elsewhere tell us that this is an event
not to be missed!
