Each September the Civic Trust encourages the owners of historic properties throughout the country to open their doors to the public free of charge.
This year the Wavertree Society will once again be inviting people to see inside the old Lock-up (1796) on the village green.
Holy Trinity Church (1794) will also be open for viewing, and the Maghull Handbell Ringers will be giving a concert there between 1 & 3 pm.
Further along Church Road, the Liverpool Blue Coat School Foundation will be opening the Board Room and Chapel (1906).
All those involved look forward to welcoming visitors from near and far on this special day.
