Our friends from the Merseyside Tramway Preservation Society will be paying us another visit, this time showing old movie footage of the LIVERPOOL OVERHEAD RAILWAY and the MERSEY FERRIES. Members of the MTPS will also be talking about their tram and bus museum in Birkenhead, and offering for sale a range of souvenirs, books and photographs.
This meeting marks our return to Wavertree Town Hall - now under new management - after a long absence. The event takes place in 'The Farriers', which is the former stables (now a restaurant) at the rear of the building. There is easy access from the car park off Chesnut Grove - or you can walk through the building from the High Street.
