Ron Davies is a member of the Friends of the National Museums Liverpool. He is a retired schoolmaster who now voluntarily promotes the Customs & Excise Museum, situated at the Albert Dock, on behalf of the Friends. His illustrated talk will cover the story of Customs from the earliest times to the present day, from traditional 'smugglers' to current issues such as drugs and endangered species.
