Chris Peach is Liverpool City Council's Neighbourhood Manager for the 'South Suburbs'. Based in Picton Road, she is responsible for an area stretching from Wavertree to the banks of the River Mersey - including large tracts of parkland, attractive residential environments, and a range of local and district shopping centres.
The South Suburbs Neighbourhood Management Team's priorities include tackling anti-social behaviour, improving the quality of the local environment, promoting healthy lifestyles, maintaining decent housing standards and ensuring the availability of employment and educational opportunities to residents of the area. Locally, the Team has been involved in projects such as the Street Audit and Wavertree in Bloom.
We have invited Chris to come and talk to us about the work of the Neighbourhood Management service, and to answer questions about its current projects. The meeting will take place in the new Olive Mount Community Centre (pedestrian access from Childwall Road, vehicle/pedestrian access from the Thingwall Road mini-roundabout)
starting at 7.30 pm.
