As mentioned in our last Newsletter, we have produced a Wavertree Society Calendar for 2007. Measuring 42cm x 15cm, it is a 'His & Hers' style calendar - with two columns for recording separate sets of appointments, etc. - but the columns are headed 'You' and 'Me' to give it wider appeal. The monthly pages feature historic images of the 11 buildings and monuments on which we are proposing to install 'green plaques' during 2007, with captions indicating the proposed wording.

The calendar comes spiral-bound and ready to hang, and the price is just £3 complete with card envelope (or £2.50 if the envelope is not required). Calendars will be on sale at our meeting on 22nd November, and also at the Liverpool Cat Welfare charity shop, 1 High Street, Wavertree. Our Committee member Mrs Sheilagh Birch will be handling mail orders: please send a cheque for £4 (including P&P), payable to 'The Wavertree Society', to her at 338 Wavertree Nook Road, Liverpool L15 7LJ.
