Our next talk:
THE NATURAL HISTORY
OF MERSEYSIDE
by Colin Twist
on Wednesday 1st March 2006,
7.30 pm,
at Olive Mount Community Centre,
Liverpool L15
With the help of his excellent slides, Colin Twist will take us on a tour of the varied habitats - coastal and inland, urban and rural - which exist in and around Liverpool, and will describe the wide range of birds, plants, butterflies and other wildlife which can be found there.
As our usual venue, the Town Hall, is currently undergoing refurbishment, we shall be holding this meeting in the brand-new OLIVE MOUNT COMMUNITY CENTRE which is situated within the Cosmopolitan Housing Association development just off Childwall Road.
The directions to the venue are as follows:
From Childwall Road (pedestrians only) - walk down the path a few yards and the community centre is in the big building on the left almost in front of you. The entrance is at the front on the far side.
From the roundabout on Thingwall Road - turn into Edgewell Drive, take the first left and the centre is a few yards on your right. On-street parking is available nearby.
ALL INTERESTED ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND
Admission Free - Donations Invited
