Henry Yates Thompson was born at Dingle Cottage near Liverpool in 1838. This presentation by Richard Baker - 'Richie the Ranger' - tells of his explorations, his amazing adventures, his wealth and his lifestyle. It also reminds us of his philanthropic contributions to society, such as the Sefton Park Palm House, which we still enjoy today.
An entertaining and fascinating evening, not to be missed!
