NEWS FROM THE WAVERTREE SOCIETY (May 2015):

Our Summer Outing:
A COACH TRIP TO HEBDEN BRIDGE
Saturday 25th July

Hebden Bridge has been described in The Guardian as "the coolest, quirkiest, most creative place in Britain". It is an old mill town on the Rochdale Canal, renowned for its range of independent shops, galleries, eating places and 'alternative' lifestyles.

Our coach departs from Lake Road (near the Picton Clock) at 9 a.m. prompt, and we shall be back home by 6.30 p.m. We are also inviting Gateacre Society members to participate, so there will be an additional pickup point in Gateacre Brow (outside the Black Bull) at 8.45 a.m.
The cost is £15 a head, which must be sent/given to our Chairman Robert Zatz to secure your place on the trip.

Wavertree Society members will find booking details in their May 2015 Newsletter. If you wish to join the Society, please click here.
