Chris Hulme is a well-known collector of Liverpool postcards and memorabilia who has had regular columns in several local newspapers, including Merseymart and the Echo. He likes to research the stories behind the pictures, and has recently spent a lot of time finding out about his grandfathers' exploits during World War 1. Bundles of postcards and other documents had lain undisturbed in the family's attic for many years, but the centenary of the war has prompted Chris to study them in detail.
Chris will also be showing us some of the Wavertree material he has come across - including an album of photographs from the 1920s/30s entitled 'Wavertree Dog Club'. To find out more, come along to the talk!
