ANYONE REMEMBER
THE EBORALLS?

Mr Eric Eborall of Cambridgeshire has recently joined the Society. His ancestors moved from Warwickshire to Wavertree in the 19th century, and he wonders whether any of their descendants still live locally. Henry Eborall was a poulterer/fishmonger and died in 1930. Henry's uncle Edward was a builder with premises at 21-23 High Street. Please contact our Local History Secretary, Mike Chitty, if you have any relevant information or photographs.

NOTICE OF A.G.M.
The 40th Annual General Meeting of the Wavertree Society will be held at 2pm on Sunday 23rd October 2016, in the Olive Mount Community Centre, Edgewell Drive, Liverpool L15 8GG. Please put the date in your diary. More details will be given in our next (October) Newsletter.

OUR COACH TRIP
Although we didn't manage to fill the coach for our visit to Stoke-on-Trent on 23rd July, those who came were very impressed with what they saw. Our hosts, the Potteries Heritage Society, were delighted to be able to show us round and tell us of their hopes for the future. If you have any suggestions for where we should be visiting next year, please let us know.

OUR MEMBERS' WAVERTREE ROOTS
Many Wavertree Society members have enjoyed tracing their family tree, and some have found links with Wavertree stretching back many generations. We hope to feature some of these in future Newsletters - so if you have a story to tell, please let us know.
