		COME AND SEE US AT THE BIG HISTORY SHOW This year's Merseyside Big History Show, organised by Ken Pye, will take place in St George's Hall, Liverpool, on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th April. Admission will cost £2 (in aid of the Minton Tiled Floor restoration) and there will be talks, exhibitions and information tables staffed by representatives of local history societies, etc., from all over Merseyside - including ourselves.

		DON'T FORGET THE FRIENDS The Friends of the Mystery Park have got all sorts of events planned for 2017. There's a litter pick (meet outside the Aquatics Centre at 10.30am) on Saturday 8th April, and the Smithdown Road Festival (with a stage near the bowling green) is from 29th April to 1st May 2017. More information at www.facebook.com/friendsofthemystery The Friends of the Rose Garden also welcome volunteers at their weekly sessions in the High Street, every Wednesday morning from about 9 till 10.30am.
