NEWS FROM THE WAVERTREE SOCIETY (Jan.2018):

WAVERTREE GARDEN SUBURB WINDOWS
In our May 2015 Newsletter we mentioned that Liverpool City Council had changed its policy, and was now granting planning permission for certain types of UPVC replacement window. The only design approved at the time was the 'Residence 9' flush-sash casement window. Since then, many more planning applications have been granted permission, some of them being for the very similar 'Prestige Collection' design. We shall be distributing a leaflet to all houses within the Wavertree Garden Suburb Conservation Area, giving more details about the Council's policy.
