THE BENEFITS OF EMAIL
The Wavertree Society is a member of Merseyside Civic Society - a consequence being that individual Wavertree Society members are eligible to attend MCS events free of charge. Details of these events are issued by email, and most of them require online registration so that the numbers attending are known in advance.

If you are a member of the Wavertree Society but don't already receive your Wavertree Society Newsletters in PDF format - which means that you'll also be on our email list to receive News Updates and MCS invitations - please consider 'opting in'. To do this, simply follow the instructions in your printed copy of the November 2019 Newsletter.

If you are not a member of the Wavertree Society, please consider joining us. You can do so online HERE

MORE TREES FOR WAVERTREE?
The Woodland Trust is offering thousands of trees to schools and community groups who are willing to plant them and maintain them. The Friends of the Mystery Park hope to participate in this scheme, and LoveWavertree have identified tree planting as a possible future project.

Some time ago (May 2014
) we highlighted the need for new roadside trees in Wavertree Garden Suburb, to replace those which had been removed as a result of disease or old age. This subject was raised, once again, at our recent A.G.M. If you would like a tree to be planted near your house - and are willing to keep an eye on it, and keep it watered, until it becomes established - please let us know.
