Our winter social event:
AN A CAPPELLA AFTERNOON
at the Wavertree Garden Suburb Institute
on Sunday 13th February
at 2 p.m.
Once again we are holding a get-together at the Institute in Thingwall Road, Liverpool L15 (the sandstone building near the junction with Fieldway) for our members and friends. The music this year will be provided by 'Just Midnight' - the local group of A Cappella singers who were featured in the film '79 Journeys' shown at our A.G.M.
Refreshments will be available, and Mike Chitty will also talk briefly about the compilation of the recently-published 'Wavertree' volume of archive photographs.
If you have any pictures, documents or items of local memorabilia which you think would be of interest to other members, please feel free to bring them along. There will be no charge for admission, but - as usual - donations will be invited towards our expenses.
