SAINTS AND SINNERS

Florence Gersten will talk about the lives and careers of several women who lived and/or worked in Liverpool. Their reputations have outlived them, but those reputations are varied. Some of these women are remembered for doing something very good, some for very different activities. Saints or sinners? Judge for yourself!

The Olive Mount Community Centre is situated in Edgewell Drive, off Thingwall Road, Liverpool L15. There is direct pedestrian access from Childwall Road. (Enter the building through the wooden gate by the palm tree)

The 31st ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING of the Wavertree Society will be held on Sunday 21st October 2007, at 2 p.m., in the Olive Mount Community Centre.
As mentioned in the last Newsletter, anyone interested in joining the Committee
will be very welcome to put themselves forward for nomination at the meeting.
Please do your best to attend; we need 20 paid-up members present for a quorum.
At the conclusion of the A.G.M. business, Diane Maddock of Cosmopolitan Housing
will be giving a short talk about the aims of the Community Centre.
