HERITAGE OPEN DAY
in Wavertree
Sunday 13th September
SEVEN venues will be open during the afternoon, as follows:
1. ST MARY'S CHURCH (1872), South Drive L15. 1-4pm.
2. WAVERTREE LOCK-UP (1796), Childwall Road/Lake Road L15. 12-4pm.
3. WAVERTREE CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH (1839), Hunters Lane L15. 12-4pm.
4. HOLY TRINITY CHURCH (1794), Church Road L15. 1-5pm.
5. LIVERPOOL BLUE COAT SCHOOL FOUNDATION (1906), Church Rd L15. 1-4pm.
6. ST BARNABAS CHURCH (1914), Penny Lane/Allerton Road L18. 12-5pm.
7. DOVEDALE BAPTIST CHURCH (1906), Dovedale Road L18. 10.30-4pm.
Note that three of the churches are also open on Saturday 12th September:
Wavertree Congregational Church 12-4pm.
St Barnabas Church 3-5pm.
Dovedale Baptist Church 10-4pm.
REFRESHMENTS will be available at several of the venues.

HIGHLIGHTS of this year's event are:
CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH. A further-enhanced 'Wedding Dresses through the 20th and 21st Centuries' display, inside the church.
HOLY TRINITY. Speakers and music at intervals during the afternoon, on the WW1-based theme 'Holy Trinity Remembers'.
ST BARNABAS. Bell tower tours on Saturday (meet outside the church at 1, 2 and 3pm). Guided walk 'Penny Lane to Picton Clock' on Sunday (start 2pm).
