ABOUT 'LOVE WAVERTREE'
'Love Wavertree' arose as a result of a very negative article that appeared in the Liverpool Echo in April 2019. It is a campaign supported by the Wavertree Society, local Councillors, Wavertree Village Residents & Businesses Association, and numerous individuals who care for Wavertree. Financial and practical assistance has been offered by the Mayor of Liverpool, and encouragement and advice has come from Civic Voice, the national organisation representing civic societies such as ours.
