'LOVE WAVERTREE' NEWS
The success story that is LoveWavertree continues. The opening of the Hub (and ReLoved shop) at 203 Picton Road has attracted more volunteers, and more ideas for future events. Sewing classes, a book group, a children's art competition and a 'Wavertree in Bloom' group are among the first to be organised.
Communication is mainly via Twitter - @LoveWavertree - but there is also a website - lovewavertree.org - and a WhatsApp group.
The website invites people - especially young people - to suggest local improvements on an 'ideas wall' and interactive map. This has been set up by PLACED, a locally-based social enterprise, as part of its first featured case study. To join in, follow this link.
