What possible sites have been identified?

The accompanying map (on the right), based on the Ordnance Survey six-inches-to-the-mile sheet published in 1894, indicates three alternative locations (numbered 1 to 3) where Woodcroft Park might have been situated.

A second map (below) shows the 1909 edition of the same sheet, and indicates that by that time virtually all of the open land in the area had been developed for housing and other uses.
