The open day at the WGS Institute held last month was well attended and proved to be a great way for local residents to get to know more about the goings on in the Institute. The National Garden Scheme has granted funds to create a much needed summerhouse in the grounds of the Institute. Planters are now appearing on Thingwall Road, this should help with greening the area and preventing cars parking on the verges. Important road one way road changes are being made to help the current congestion in the area of Waldgrave and Heywood Roads. This is a result of a 6 month review of the previous implementation of the one way system. Let’s hope it helps the situation.
