COME AND SEE US AT
THE BIG HISTORY SHOW
St George's Hall, Liverpool, Saturday & Sunday 9th-10th April, 10am-5pm.
The Merseyside Big History Show will be bigger than ever this year. Exhibitors will include local history, heritage, family history and special interest groups from right across Merseyside. Admission will be free of charge. The café will be open, and afternoon teas will be available. There will also be a programme of 15 talks by guest historians (Tickets £2 each - in advance from St George's Hall shop or at the door) and a Local History Question Time Panel Event (£2.50).

The map below was published as part of our Statement on the Olive Mount Sports Ground (ex-Manweb playing fields) issued in February 2016.
Liverpool UDP (Policy HD11) states that "important views and vistas into and out of" conservation areas should be preserved, and we consider that this applies to the area outlined in green on this map.

HIGH STREET IMPROVEMENTS
Following our Shopfronts and Shutters discussion on 27th January, we are hoping to draw up proposals which will meet with the approval both of local business/property owners and the City Council's planning officers. Our Wavertree Ward councillors have been very supportive, and have contributed £500 from their Mayoral Neighbourhood Fund towards these High Street improvements.

FRIENDS OF THE MYSTERY PARK
The newly-formed group's first Public Meeting was held on 1st March at the Aquatics Centre. Many ideas and concerns were put forward regarding The Mystery. A litter pick is planned in the near future. Anyone interested in the work of the group is encouraged to visit their Facebook page -
