THE ABBEY CINEMA
Many people are asking, what are Lidl proposing? The company has told us that they are still carrying out surveys before deciding what to do with the building. Meanwhile SAVE Britain's Heritage is trying to get the building Listed, and Love Wavertree has organised a 'Save the Abbey' petition in order to demonstrate to Lidl the strength of local feeling.

OUR AGM & ACCOUNTS
The 44th Annual General Meeting of the Wavertree Society, which should have taken place in October, was cancelled. It will now take place some time in 2021 - as soon as practicable and legal. Meanwhile any member wishing to inspect the Statement of Accounts for 2019/20 is invited to ask us for a copy.
