NEWS FROM THE WAVERTREE SOCIETY (Jan.2020):

OLGH CHURCH PLANS
The former Our Lady of Good Help RC Church in Chestnut Grove/Victoria Avenue has lain empty since its closure in April 2011. Now plans have been drawn up for the conversion of the building to residential apartments. They include the construction of a pitched-roof extension along the Chestnut Grove frontage, clad in a 'timber-effect' composite material, with a row of car parking spaces laid out between the roadway and a new hedge, immediately adjacent to the building.

The architects have attended two consultation meetings within the Church building, in order to gather the views of local residents. Further comments will be invited very soon, when the planning application is submitted to Liverpool City Council.
